Guidance and Support of Parents
        Community

Every year, there are four meetings of two hours each for the parents of the children. We update them on the progress of their children, share whatever problems there are and also use these meetings to address social problems like alcoholism, the need of education, gender equality, marital problems and the choice of their children's professional career. For the parents, these are much-needed life skill sessions. Additionally professional trainers are engaged to organise life skill training programmes for the mothers of our students. And whenever needed, our social workers visit the families to provide family counselling.

By this intervention we have been able to prevent parents from getting their children married at a very early age or sending the children to work rather than to school. We ensure that our children can complete their education despite their home circumstances.
